Unleashed Donates to Roxie's Fund!

Wow! Unleashed has donated 30 bags of Merrick dry food for our foster dogs. Another incredible donation that makes a huge difference to us!

We are grateful to our friends at Unleashed and we just know that our pups will LOVE Grammy's Pot Pie!

Precious!

Meet Precious - we just love this girl! We brought her in to our program after she was found by animal control. She was left outside with no food, no shelter, no water, and no love.

We brought her in, got her spayed and vaccinated, and are now looking for a wonderful home for our girl!

Remind Us Again...

Oh yes! We rescued the most adorable little rottie pups as they were just arriving at a local shelter. These delicious babies received lots of attention and we received tons of applications - we were completely overwhelmed! All have now been adopted (competition was stiff, we admit it!) but it got us thinking more about our other major mission - spay/neuter. These pups took up spots in homes for older rotties who have been discarded at shelters - older dogs don't fare well in shelters and often don't make it out. Don't forget to spay and neuter - it saves lives!

Rachel Ray Donates to Roxie's Fund!

We were thrilled when Rachel Ray chose Roxie's Fund as the recipient of her donation to a Washington DC area shelter/rescue as part of her campaign to help abused and homeless animals. Her donation of $7,500 makes such a difference to us! YAY for Rachel!

Oh, and she has also committed to donating 20 bags of her NUTRISH food for our rescue dogs too!
